What data and why
The update mailing list
If you sign up, we keep your email address to write to you when 8 Ball Stakes comes out on iPhone and when each season starts. Nothing else: we do not share it or use it for anything else.
To be able to prove that you gave us permission, we also keep the date and the IP address from which you signed up and confirmed, and the text you accepted.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box and confirming from the email we send you (double opt-in).
- How long: until you unsubscribe. After that we only keep a record of the unsubscription, so we don’t write to you again.
- Unsubscribing: with the link included in every email, or by writing to us.
The weekly leaderboard
The home page shows the game’s leaderboard: the player name, level, avatar and country each player has chosen in the game, and the league points they have that week. It is the same as what the leaderboard shows in the game.
When you visit the website
Like any website, the server logs the IP address, the date and the page requested, for security and operation. This website does not use cookies or third-party analytics or advertising tools: the language you choose travels in the address itself. Only the administration panel, which is not public, uses a technical session cookie.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, take it with you, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to avisos@8ballstakes.online. If you think we are not handling it properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
